Bigg Boss 6 : A Cleaner Version Starts On October 2, 2012 On Colors TV

Mumbai, Sep 1 (TruthDive): Bigg Boss 6 in 2012 is the sixth season of the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss, which will be aired on Colors from October 2, 2012 to 7 January 2013 with Bollywood star Salman Khan as the host.
Salman Khan has promised unlike the other seasons of Bigg Boss highlighting fights and scandals involving celebrities in reality show, the new version will be ‘cleaner and friendlier’.
Bigg Boss has celebrity contestants staying together in a house for about three months, without having any communication with the outside world. They are overseen by a “mysterious person” known as ‘Bigg Boss’.
The latest release from the makers of the reality show said, contrary to the previous seasons, focus of this season will not be on stars and their tantrums; it is going to be about the common man and his values, morals and faith.
Reports say that the change in the format was made against the request of Salman Khan, after a wave of controversies in the earlier seasons of the show which housed Raja Choudhary (accused of beating his wife), starlet Dolly Bindra, dreaded dacoit Seema Parihar and adult film star Sunny Leone.
The release said people those who are interested can log on to the website of Colors channel or send SMS and they would be selected through a contest to appear on Bigg Boss 6.
Bigg Boss 6 has shifted to its original location Lonavala. Sabu Cyril, a famous art designer, will design the set of the show for this season.
Salman is once again returning to host Season 6 of Bigg Boss all alone. Salman will entry in house in “Dabang” Style. As the show became a huge success due to Salman’s association with the show the channel wants the actor to once again return as host.
The celebrities and contestants who would participate in the celebrity reality show have not been declared yet. Talks are going on to finalize the contestants. Foreign celebrities too will be associated to the show to make a good increase in the TRP of the show.

Aman Verma: Sunny Leone Is A Bad Example For Our Girls!

Indian television anchor and an actor Aman Verma believes the Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone is a bad example for the girls in the country and he feels she shouldn’t have been brought to the country.
Leone, who was named ‘Penthouse Pet of the Year’ in 2003, was brought to the ‘Bigg Boss 5’ house last year and her presence was on a family TV show was criticized a lot by almost everyone out there. However, the somehow or the other the show makers kept on justifying themselves and now the adult sensation has become a Bollywood star.
She recently made her B’town debut with Pooja Bhatt’s film ‘Jism 2’. She has now been signed by Ekta Kapoor for ‘Ragini MMS 2’, which is a sequel to Ragini MMS (2010).
Almost every producer in the country, who is known for making bold movies, is trying to cash in on Leone’s name. Perhaps this is a reason why Verma feels many girls in the country would try to follow her footsteps in order to get an entry in the tinsel town.
While speaking on his inclusion, Verma got defensive about the television industry but took a few digs at the filmmaking industry.
“Dekhiye, TV pe jo khuch bhi dikhaya jata hai uska pehle pura survey hota hai. The producers conduct a survey and ask people if they want to see a particular twist in the serial or not. Only then they include the changes, based on the responses they get,” says Aman.
“Indian people are very tolerant anyway. Is desh me sab kuch chalta hai. Jab vo ek pornstar ko actress ke taur pe accept kar sakte hain to ek kiss to mamooli baat hai yaar. In fact, what I’m more worried about is the bad example it has presented, that of girls becoming pornstars first, in their way to become an actress,” Aman avers.

The Indo-Canadian porn star told IANS: “I would never go back to the house again… it is insane, it is crazy. But what it did for me is it opened the doors, opened a new world – something that I had never imagined.”

The actress debuted into Bollywood with “Jism 2″ which was offered to her by Mahesh Bhatt while she was in the “Big Boss” house.

She said “Bhatt saab came in the house and talked about doing a movie, this idea never crossed my mind. I thought I will exit the house and never come back to India… but complete opposite thing happened”.

Sunny Leone says the reality shows in West are completely different from what we see in India saying here those who come on the show become very popular and achieve huge success. She says that in America, if you do a reality show, they don’t care.

“Jism 2″ is releasing on August 3, 2012 and has been directed by Pooja Bhatt. Sunny will be seen romancing Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in the movie.

Bollywood PR guru’s suggestion that the upcoming Season 6 of India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss “could target generation next to expand its fan-base to children and teens,” has caused an uproar in the industry circles.
Last week, while answering queries regarding Bigg Boss, the celebrity PR specialist also suggested that “the show could have a separate enclosure or playhouse specially constructed for kids, where they could make merry and also interact with superstar host Salman Khan.”
The idea has sparked a hot debate on whether it is okay to involve children in a reality show that is high on glamour, theatrics and politics, with ex-Housemates saying, it’s a ‘bad idea’!
In a report in Hindustan Times, actor Ashmit Patel said, “I don’t think it’s a good idea at all. The purpose of the show is to put the housemates under such extreme physical, mental, emotional stress that they crumble; thus providing drama and content. I don’t think it’s correct to put a child through this.” Coincidently, Bhagwagar was Ashmit’s publicist during his stormy stint in Season 4.
The report also quoted Miss Afghanistan Vida Samadzai of Bigg Boss Season 5, stating, “I wouldn’t want fragile teens or innocent children to be a part of this war zone.”
But singer-actress Raageshwari who participated in Season 6, seemed to side with Bhagwagar’s view as she commented, “Children need to be nurtured and loved, so if Bigg Boss promises tons of love and emotional protection to children, then it would be interesting to learn from them.”
For the record, Dale Bhagwagar has handled the media affairs for some of the most controversial Bollywood celebrities including Shilpa Shetty during Big Brother, and Bigg Boss contestants Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah, Sambhavna Seth, Vindu Dara Singh, Sherlyn Chopra, Ashmit Patel, Amar Upadhyay and Pooja Misrra, from time to time.

 After several seasons highlighting fights and scandals involving celebrities in reality show Bigg Boss, the new version will be ‘cleaner and friendlier’, host Salman Khan has promised.

The controversial reality show Bigg Boss is all set to come back with new twists and turns for its sixth season this year, and will not only house celebrities, but will be open for the common man also, an official release issued said. Bigg Boss sees celebrity contestants staying in a house for about three months, cut off from the outside world. They are overseen by a “mysterious person” known as ‘Bigg Boss’.

This season, the focus will not be on stars and their tantrums, it is going to be about the common man and his values, morals and faith, the release said.

Reports suggest that the change in format was formalised at the behest of Salman Khan, after a spate of controversies in the earlier seasons of the show which housed adult film star Sunny Leone, Raja Choudhary (accused of beating his wife), dreaded dacoit Seema Parihar and starlet Dolly Bindra.

People can send SMS or log on to the website of Colors channel and they would be selected through a contest to appear on Bigg Boss 6, the release said.

The show is likely to go on air in October.
