Advertising Rates Shoot Up A Head Of Bigg Boss 6

Advertising rates have shot up by 20% a head of Salman Khan’s popular reality TV show Bigg Boss 6. The rates are likely to fall between Rs. 35 – 40 Crores as even a usual 10 sec slot is being sold at 3 Lacs.
This year, telecom and FMCG campanies will  sponsor Bigg Boss 6 as a number of them crave to grab the opportunity.
Harish Shriyan, CEO OMD noted that it’s unfair to attribute Salman’s unique abilities and success in running the the box office as the cause of the hike in the rates.
Adding that the rates are lower than what KBC garners at 3.75 lakh per ten seconds currently. it’s said a sum of Rs 20-25 crore was paid by Cadbury this year.
However colors is looking foreword to making the show a success having come second at 245 GRPS to Star who topped the ranking with 264 Gross Rating Points.
Bigg Boss 6 will be given a prime time telecast as it’s content has been adjusted to fit family viewing. Salman Khan in regard is inviting family to watch the show  focused in bringing family entertainment.
Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors confirmed that Bigg Boss 6  is an expensive show and they are scaling it up further this year and have therefore priced it higher this time round.

The producers of this year’s Bigg Boss 6 have revealed the new look and wardrobe of Bollywood star Salman Khan who happens to be the show’s host. He will sport a French beard and a new wardrobe which he actually used to shoot the promos for the show recently.
The Bollywood star has always been the trendsetter for a long time, whenever he dons a new style and his fans like it, they immediately adopt it and this is what is expected to one the show starts and fans find his style appealing.
His long hair style from Tere Naam (2003), tees worn in Being Human and more recent style of wearing a chequered scarf for Ek Tha Tiger all have been copied immediately by his fans.
Alvira Agnihotri who happens to be Salman’s sister and Ashley Rebelle, the designers have made sure that Salman looks great on the screen.
Salman who will have different designs from the colours of the jackets being lemon yellow, salmon pink and mustard and he would be using a lot of black shirts. He would also be seen exhibiting a brand new feature in his style, which would surely create a rage among his fans.
Well, only time will tell when his loyal fans will take his newest look and wardrobe.

Salman Khan Smokes No More!

It may sound unbelievable but, it so happens that Salman Khan has apparently managed to spend two solid months with smoking! However, the Bollywood star is now addicted to something else-chewing gum!
He was spotted enjoying chewing gum while blowing bubbles,a thing specially associated with children thus one is left to wonder why the Star was enjoying the proceedings.
It has been reported that whenever he feels the urge to smoke, he rushes and picks chewing gum and spends his time doing so than the previous vice.
One wonders what prompted Salman to quit the cancer stick, it could be due to health precautions, perhaps!
Meanwhile, Salman’s frenemy Shahrukh Khan is also a record smoker and one wonders if at all he will be inspired by his friend to quit smoking, guess that would be nice.

Sunny Leone Absent For Bigg Boss 6

Sunny an ex-housemate in Bigg Boss 5 rose to stardom when she joined the Bigg Boss house last year.
She was quoted by a news agency to have said “I would never go back to the house again… it’s insane, it is crazy. But what it did for me is it opened the doors, opened a new world – something that I had never imagined.”
The ex-Bigg Boss 5 icon, who after her Bigg Boss experience ventured into acting has “Jism 2″ to her name which came off as an offer by Mahesh Bhatt who influenced her to join Bollywood while in the Bigg Boss house.
Sunny  Leone said “Bhatt saab came in the house and talked about doing a movie, this idea never crossed my mind. I thought I will exit the house and never come back to India… but complete opposite things happened,”.

According to her, reality shows in the west are categorically different from what is in India. Adding that “If you compare the reality shows here to there (US), here those who come on the show become very popular and achieve huge success. In America, if you do a reality show, they don’t care. They don’t identify people when they walk on streets, but here it does happen like that,” she lamented.
